A wonderful rare heirloom piece. This perfectly preserved Tuscan pure linen flat sheet is at least 100 years old.
But in perfect condition (as new) as it is probably from a Trousseau and always kept in the bottom drawer.
The borders are in ‘Travetti Ripieni’…hand stitching representing many hours of painstaking work.
The family monogram initials are P.C and are crafted in raised ‘punto pieno’ hand stitching (Orlagiorno).
