This pure linen sheet was made in Tuscany in the 1920s or 1930s.
It is a family heirloom which has probably never been used… always kept in the ‘bottom drawer’
It is an important piece with the family monogram of MB.
The borders are ‘ Orlagiorno’ handstitching with a geometric design
The raised initials are in ‘Punto Pieno’ stitching
An extremely elegant piece it could be made into a duvet cover to suit your size specification
