Beautiful pale pink hand stitched embroidery adorns this piece its a lovely large sheet.
Made in the 1940s in Umbria in a cotton /linen mix..all handstiched around (Orlagiorno)
An embroidered flower design with a combination of interesting raised hand stitching…Puntoerbe, Intarsio, Punto Pieno.
It would have taken several weeks to stitch by hand for a member of the family..an important and rare piece .
It could be easily made to be a duvet cover to your size specification
