Penny Radford came to live in Italy 22 years ago – she left behind a business and successful life in Marketing in London and decided to live the dream of a life deep in the mountains of Umbria. Her early years in Italy were spent lovingly restoring a group of historic buildings in a wonderful hilltop location near Perugia and she now welcomes guests there to share the tranquility of this special place.
During the building and renovation process she became involved in and very enthusiastic about Italian antiques and the reclamation of historic materials. Frequenting antique and collectable markets throughout Central Italy she came across marvelous linens that she simply had to acquire.
